Two missing dresses of Amy Winehouse

Foreign media reported that someone had ransacked the late famous singer Amy Winehouse’s house that she lived in when she was alive. Two sign evening dress of her were stolen, which was worth 130 thousand pounds in all. Amy’s father Mitchell reared up in a temper for this. 

It was said the two stolen evening dress were respectively a wedding dress that Amy had at her wedding and a cocktail dress that she wore taking part in the television program. The missing dresses were quite precious. Amy’s father Mitchell, who was 60 years old this year, told the reporter that it was real a heavy blow to him. How dare someone steal such valuable dresses? Such conduct was nauseating.

The stolen room was the one that Amy live when she passed away, after which her fans built the house into Memorial Hall of Amy Winehouse. There was also someone who put some flowers outside. And the little evening dress that was stolen was used to be cautioned and raised money for the Amy Winehouse Fund.

The thief was said to have stolen the cotton pattern skirt that Amy wore when she got married with Black Field. And Amy had worn the other missing cocktail dress which was printed newspaper pattern on a BBC music program in the late 2006. Both the dresses were packed because of their caution in New York. The wedding dress was estimated to be cautioned at 100 thousand pounds and the cocktail dress at 30 thousand pounds. All the money received would be used as Amy Winehouse fund, which was set up in memory of Amy when she died in July, 2011. All the money would be donated to the children hospital and drug rehabilitation center. More than 1 million pounds had been raised so far.

Mitchell told the reporter that all the goods in the house was classified and signed as they planned to sell Amy’s house. But they could not figure out why they stole the two dresses rather than other countless dresses which were more valuable. The wedding dress was really ordinary, and the cocktail dress was not as good as other name brand dress. But they just selected the two and did not touch other dress at all, which was suspect. Mitchell said there were several people that had came into the house recently. So the possibility that the dresses were stolen at that time was large.

Amy was born in an ordinary Jewish family in the north of London on 14^th, September, 1983. Her grandmother found her art talent when she was eight and sent her to the drama school. She formed a band at the age of ten. In 2002, the 19-year-old Amy was discovered by the brokerage firm of Simon Fuller, a big-time manager and founder of "American Idol" series shows. She set the world on fire when she released her first album Frank in 2003. She rewarded five awards in the 50^th Grammy and became the proudest English singers.
