On 19th, December, the distinctive flavor wedding was
held in a public toilet in New York Time Square. It was said it was the only
free luxury public toilet in America and was open to the public a few days ago.
At 12 o’clock, the bride, in a long
white sleeve wedding dress, stepped
into the gate of the toilet slowly in accompany of her father and the wedding
march. What made all startled was the wedding
dress on Jenifer was all made of toilet paper.
The toilet wedding dress was designed by Hanna Kim, champion of
the 2007 toilet wedding dress competition held by the website company. The wedding
dress was sleeveless and V collar, decorating with
flowers, which seemed very delicate. At first sight, its outlook was beautiful
and had no difference with ordinary wedding dress. While it was actually folded
and pasted by one and one piece of toilet paper.
Even though the manufacturer claimed the toilet paper they
provided was super tough, it was not as tough as real wedding material. Until
the last moment of the wedding ceremony, designer Hanna was still pasting the
toilet wedding dress to guarantee nothing would go wrong. During the wedding
ceremony, she had to stay behind Jennifer with adhesive tape and glue in her
hands so that she could mend the wedding dress
as soon as possible if the dress was tore.
As the dress was made of paper, it would immediately damage if
being touched or wet. When the groom was going to hug and kiss the bride after
exchanging the rings, the host shouted:” you can kiss her, but not crush her
wedding dress. To match the toilet wedding theme, all the flowers were taken
place by tore paper.
It sounded kind of shabby to hold wedding in the toilet, but
Jennifer and her husband thought it deserved. For the manufacturer sponsored
for all the honey noon fees and ticket fee. As soon as the wedding ended, they
flied to Barbados for honey moon.
It was said the website was found by a frugal mother and her two
daughters in New York. It aimed to provide some money-saving tips for those who
were getting married. In the past three years, the website held toilet paper
wedding dress design competition all over the world. Competitors could only use
three items including toilet paper, tape and glue to make wedding dress. The
winner would be rewarded 500 dollars.
